Michael Fess lives in Barrie Ontario Canada with his beautiful wife Laura where he is Creative & Media Arts Director of Mapleview Community Church and Owner and Creative Mind behind Maxxwell Productions and the Maxxwell Creative Group of companies. Michael started off in the Professional Creative world when he started his business (maxxwell productions) at the age of fifteen. Since then he has taken on hundreds of design projects (web, print, branding, video) and a number of full and part time artistic and creative direction positions.

Michael is a passionate and experienced voice in the field of creative design, production and implementation. Having almost a decade of experience working in the professional design arena, specializing in creative church leadership and artistic direction. Whatever the size of the task Michael has a high degree of understanding about what it takes to get the job done, keeping in mind each and every detail (budgets, human capital and so on). Michael has a special way with people and understands how to pull from peoples strengths, how to build a positive team atmosphere and works very well with a wide array of people and groups.

Michael has partially completed his Theological Training through Master’s College and Seminary and hope to complete his Theological Degree in the near future. He is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and excels in tasks that require not only a creative eye, but also a sensitivity to things of the Spirit and an understanding of the day to day operations of the local church body.
